The hemispherectomy simulator is designed using materials that can be suctioned to simulate a more realistic intraoperative epilepsy surgery experience.


The hemispherectomy simulator incorporates epilepsy surgery-specific surgical anatomy: Pia matter, a grey/white matter interface, ventricles, csf, pericallosal arteries and select MCA branches and the tentorial edge. 


It is useful for demonstrate a spectrum of resective (or disconnective) epilepsy surgery techniques individually or in a skills-lab setup.
